Wooden stick game with colour dice – tower or ring, 2+ players | dexterity game

This wooden stick game is a dexterity game with coloured sticks and a colour dice. There are two ways to play: pick-up sticks with a wooden ring for two players, and the pull-the-stick tower with wooden balls for several players.

With pick-up sticks, you thread all the sticks through the ring so that they cross in the middle and the ring stands upright. Taking turns, you roll the dice and pull a stick in the colour rolled from the bundle. If the ring touches the table during your turn, you have lost; whoever has the most sticks wins. With the tower, you slide the sticks through the holes and place the balls on top. Each player pulls a stick in the colour of the dice; if a ball falls down, the game is over and whoever kept their ball up the longest wins. Each round calls for careful looking, choosing and gently pulling.
